| If you're counting states that were around during WWI, then e.g. India wasn't a sovereign state then.
If you're counting states that are around now, e.g. Pakistan should be included.
Even if you're including sovereign states plus British Dominions, then Newfoundland should be included, since it was a separate dominion from Canada then.
Either way, please make it clear which criteria you're using, (and even better, if you cite a source). Sorry to be a pain, but these quizzes are only great if their definitions are precise. |
