A few suggestions if you want them: The spelling on chervil and turmeric needs correcting, and the "licorice" spelling should be accepted (it's by far the more common where I'm from). Chipotle is a kind of chili pepper, and I'd accept just "cayenne" and "bay."
If you want to make it an even 50, juniper and lemongrass are the ones I was most surprised not to see, and fenugreek, sumac, file, and galangal are reasonably well known too. Thanks! |
