Very good puzzle. I was surprised to see trilogies like "The Godfather" and "Back to the Future" NOT making the list, but to be beat out by children's movies! What does that say about today's taste in movies? Good job, anyway.

Why do rankings like these only take into account the US gross? Just, why? Also, accept a lot more alternate answers for Star Wars...

Star Wars isn't a trilogy anymore. It's like saying every three episodes of a television series is s trilogy.
