| It's an interesting list but I wonder what criteria they used to determine least popular. Even if only one baby was given that name in any given year, it's more popular than other names. Some of these are actually in the top 1000 for the US and seem to be making a comeback. (Ada #598, Irene #636, Norah #476 (Nora #216), Elsie #740, Olive #813). I personally know of babies named Olive, Agnes, Irene, and Elsie among some of my online friends. (Although Elsie being used as a nickname for Elisabeth.) |
