These are not all preventable - infectious disease, toxins, sti's, firearms, vehicle accidents, can be transmitted or happen to you without your knowing. Maybe top 9 causes of death would be better, if not already done.

Overdose should be counted for "drug abuse." This quiz is a little off on other points as well, as mentioned above.

sti's are easy to avoid, simply don't have sex.

After trying Poison, poisoning, auto accident, suicide, homicide, overdose, murder, excess weight, drinking, and cigarettes...I gave up because NOTHING showed up. I think you should allow for some alternate answers.

I, and I think many other people, think of causes of death as stroke, cancer etc. While the source may call them "actual causes of death" for the purposes of this quiz, where people have not seen the source, I would suggest perhaps calling them "risk factors" or something along those lines to prevent confusion with what you are asking for.

Smoking = Cigarettes Drinking = Alcohol You should accept both actions and the items used. Or...at least be consistent.

The wording is poor. Any death is feasibly "preventable", except for old age obviously. Like yaremchuk said, some of these are risk factors. It's generally not smoking or obesity that kills you-- it's the resulting cancer, diabetes, heart disease, etc. The only way to logically prevent any chance of getting in a car accident is to not drive, and similar logic would apply toward the contractible diseases.
