	You should make it accept the designations in addition to the nicknames. Also, accept Bf-109 for the Me-109.

	The Hawker Hurricane saved the british durring the battle of britian, considering it was more widely used and shot down more air craft, the Me109 is aka the BF109

	I agree with both above. It's dubious to claim the Spitfire "saved" the Battle of Britain, and the official name is Bf 109, NOT Me 109 (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_Bf_109#Designation_and_nicknames ). Also you should accept B-29, P-51, etc. instead of requiring the nickname.

	Scuba Steve, dont always trust wikipedia. The Bf-109 is the correvt designation, but the me-109 is also acceptable, considering many world war 2 pilots called it the me109
