I need some feedback on this quiz. I'm not sure how well this concept will work or how well I've executed it. Is the common bond clear from the symbols/choices of films? It's all a bit subjective so just let me know what you think.

@halo - what confused me was that I needed to align my answer with the symbol that was being shown at the top. I didn't notice the symbol at all until I'd gone 0-for-4 with my first four guesses (having started at the bottom for no particular reason). I think it would be better if you accepted the 10 correct answers in any order. Other than that, it's fine.

thanks for the feedback, strags. I removed the hints/forced order

I don't see any symbol for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th categories, just a rectangle before the 12 movies in those questions.

I picked Trainspotting because it is the only one that is not a musical.

paultoes: I wasn't sure if this quiz idea would work. The idea is that each group of four movies has a symbol which represents something that three movies have in common but one doesn't. Annie, Oliver, Mary Poppins, & Trainspotting all have the British Pound symbol "£". Oliver, Mary Poppins, & Trainspotting are all set in the UK. Annie is set in NYC. So Annie is the odd movie out.

Good quiz overall, but what is the symbol for which "Avatar" is the correct answer. I simply couldn't figure it out. Was it a fire? A squid?

Paultoes I used the same logic.
