| I understand about you wanting to go with the secondary lead in some cases, but in the case of The Office (US) and The Wire, the characters you've chosen are really tertiary leads. For The Office, Michael was the clear lead and the secondary leads were Jim and Pam. For The Wire, McNulty was the clear lead, and the secondary lead changed a good deal over the course of the series, but was never Bunk. A whole host of characters had more airtime (even those who were in fewer seasons) and wider character arcs--Lester, Daniels, Prez, Avon, Stringer, Marlo, Bubbles, Omar, etc. |
