Please tell me if I need to accept any alternative answers - I'm sure I made some mistakes. Also, please tell me about the time (too much, not enough). Thanks

For football consider OT, OG, OC, DT, and DE. For hockey there are no alt answers (RW, LW, RD, LD)

Might consider adding gunner to the special teams positions.

In hockey they are never referred to as "left" and "right" defense, just "defense" or "defenseman". Even in the abbreviations, there are LW and RW, but only D.

Could you accept 'defence' as well, rather than just 'defense'? Also spelling 'centre' works for everything, but 'center field' for baseball only accepts the US spelling. Good quiz.

not so sure DH is a "position" as the quiz says.

I think you'd benefit from including some bonus answers. "Tackle" for example, should bring up a "be more specific" instruction. (Or it should count for both offense and defense.) Great fun, in any case!

I'm astonished that the % of people that got left defense is greater than the % that got right defense. How can you get one and not the other?

I would consider changing Running Back to Half Back, since a Full Back could be considered a Running Back.

I pretty much got a 100 on this since I type PR for Punt Returner and Defensemen for Hockey and those where the last three I needed to be fully correct.

@godpaul25: Although the DH may not play any defense on the field, it is technically a position that needs to be filled in the lineup for half of the teams in the league.
@popnewmo: Sorry about that. You must have played right when I was making some edits. It should be better now.

Really good quiz. I'd maybe shorten it to just a minute though.

A little inconsistent considering you have us put 'left defense' and 'right defense' but not 'strong safety' and 'free safety'

I don't think I've ever heard anyone actually call a guard in football anything other than a guard; why in the world are you using the archaic two-word name?

I've actually heard football players use the term "offensive guard", but I find it redundant considering all guards are on offense (its called a nose tackle, not a nose guard, people!)

it's just defense in hockey, I've NEVER heard a distinction between left and right

Could we get a be more specific message for 'Defense' and 'Wing' as well?

Needs a little more time, also consider adding kick off starter, or kos, to special teams.
