I don't know if this has been made before, but I thought it was a good idea, so I hope you enjoy it. All of the U.S. States are possible on this quiz and are only used once. All countries are possible and like the U.S. States, they are only used once. As for the Continents, there are repeats and unfortunately Antarctica could not be used because there are no countries there. :( Anyway, please leave feedback or comments. Thanks

Pretty sure The Philippines and Indonesia would be considered a part of Asia, not Oceania.

We all agree that this quiz was a piece of Bishkek.

Since the term continent has no fixed convention this quiz should accept Australasia and Mirconesia instead of Oceania. Oceania is a vague term that isn't used that widely due to its inconsistent meanings.

I really like the idea of this quiz, however, there are cities like San Jose and Austin that are in multiple states, like San Jose is a city in Illinois and Austin is a city in Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Nevada, and Oregon.

Don't know why I'm getting negative points... you don't have to do a lot of research to find out that Oceania has many definitions! I think you just need to fix this so that it accepts the more generally accepted terms of Australasia and Mirconesia. It is a good quiz otherwise!

better to use cities that aren't capitals. there are plenty of quizzes with capitals already.

Wow, a geography quiz where Kyrgyzstan is the least guessed answer! @kaulbach: Never mind the different definitions, this is the Sporcle definition: http://www.sporcle.com/games/oceania.php

Uhm, Hawaii doesn't have an apostrophe in it. Really good idea for a quiz, make more difficult ones and easy ones.

Hawai'i does have an apostrophe in it, it's just usually dropped. Good quiz! The time amount is perfect. The mix of easy ones and ones that take a moment works well.

This is a great quiz, but possibly a bit too USA centred. I know the states and their capitals, but maybe you could do a quiz with UK counties, australian states etc included too. Go on, you know you want to.

I like the use of a lot of the longer US state and the spin with Bishkek was nice. Good job and the time allowed was spot on.

If you're looking to add a fourth category, you could ask for cities based on a given neighborhood or district of that city. Also, the quiz seems somewhat mis-ordered. Guessing continents is the easiest portion, yet it's the last column to work on.

it's way too easy to name the countries by city since almost all of them are capitals, try using the second or third largest city of a country instead or use cities with names that can easily be guessed to be in a country by the official language of a country e.g Nürnberg in Germany or Nizhny Novgorod in Russia, hope you understand what I mean.
