Please tell me what you think. I'm thinking about doing one with Presidents, Capitals, etc.

Fun quiz, but you can probably shave a few minutes off it. I completed it in less than four and I'm a very clumsy typist.

Apart from maybe cutting off a few minutes, the only thing I can see is that North Carolina and Massachusetts should be switched.

6 minutes seem a little too much. i think 3 minutes would make it difficult but possible, 4 minutes would make it medium, and 5 would make it pretty easy. just my opinion, do what you want. good quiz anyway

easiest way to do it is not in order but work through the states in order and enter by selcting appropriate letter and number

This was done before, in Blitz format. You only had to get one state per count, though. "Blitz: Letter Count States"

@caramba: I did see that quiz, but this quiz forces you to name all 50 states and it's also not a blitz. It is also not randomized like in the quiz you're talking about.

I'd leave out the alphabetical order requirement. Too much going on. Adjust to allow for an answer to appear either/or.

Hmmm, I think I needed on more minute. But I really like this format. Great job!

I really like the format, and the 4 minute limit made it just the right level of challenge--I got close, so I enjoyed it, but I didn't quite finish, so I have to play it again.

Actually, I thought it was the perfect amount of time, personally. Great quiz, too. It helped having the first letters provided, or else it would have taken FOREVER to figure this one out. Fun!

Maybe up the time a minute or two and/or accept the three M's that have 8 letters in any order. I wasted some time figuring out you wanted them in alphabetic order.

It's amazing how totally orthogonal this is to how my brain works. If I think of a map, I can do 50 states in less that 60 seconds. This? I missed 8 of them in three minutes. Weird.

Alaska question: did anyone experience a little bit of Missouri during this quiz? 'Cause I never Arkansas it coming! Joking aside, I thought this was a challenging puzzle. You certainly a good puzzler, my Maine man!

I thought there was too much time, until I forgot Minnesota and Wisconsin. Ended with 3 seconds left.

i think its tough to try to count all the letters in some of these. I never really thought of how long (9) Wisconsin was before. All the M's make it a challenge.

Oops, totally missed the "alphabetical order" instructions. I counted the number of letters in "Missouri" like 10 times to make sure I was right.

Fun but think it would work better in the new 'forced order' format - sounds weird but I don't like having the nagging option of jumping forward to more obvious answers!

I'd agree that it shouldn't matter about the order, but I liked the time. It's nice to have quizzes where the goal is something few people will get. Look at the score chart. Nice bell curve = Timed perfectly.

@Trever: I believe that when a vowel is repeated in (most?) Polynesian languages, they are separated by an apostrophe that represents a glottal stop.
