My little brother recently passed his driving test and I wanted to make a simple quiz for everyone in honor of him and this came to mind. I hope people don't find it that easy. I tried it on my parents and they got the gist of it, but couldn't remember it word for word. So, I thought it might actually work out as a quiz. Anyway, leave me a comment and tell me what you think. Thanks!

Strangely, I remembered these not because of my mirrors but because of Jurassic Park.

Each time I bump into my side mirror and have to readjust it, I think "Mirror Is Closer Than It Appears". That was a nice way to honor your brother with this game!

For some reason I thought of Ace Ventura first, then Jurassic Park. It slowed me down.

@Hejman: I totally forgot about that scene! But now that you and druhutch remind me, I think I do faintly remember seeing that dinosaur chasing them while he's looking at the mirror. I'm glad you pointed that awesome movie scene out! I love Jurassic Park. I also love Editor Picks. Thanks for making my night 1000 times better.

It's kind of nice that the Meat Loaf fans will still get all the right answers, albeit in the wrong order.

I took some astronomy classes in college and one day we were talking about some physics concepts such as light distortion around black holes and some other stuff and some idiot raised his hand, and in front of the entire class of 300 people asked "Is that why objects in mirror are closer than they appear?" I will never forget those words after that.

@Pogues, except that the Meat Loaf song got it wrong. Accoring to Meat Loaf it is "Objects in the rear view mirror may appear closer than they are" which is the exact opposite of what the warning actually says.

You know, when they first launched the Hubble telescope, they found the main mirror had been shaped wrong. The simple fix would have been to inscribe on it "Objects in mirror are weirder than they appear."

Please change this quiz to be accepting of variations of this phrase. For example, my mirror says: Warning: Objects may be closer than they appear.
