Man, other than Michael, the NBA MVPs for the last 20 years are almost entirely missing from this quiz. No Hakeem, Kobe, Shaquille, or Lebron. Not even a Charles, David, Karl, Tim, Allen, or Kevin. Only Steve Nash managed to sneak on, with help from Steve Young, Steve Garvey, and *Steve McNair.
Due to the icon next to my name, I am legally required to put an asterisk next to any mention of Steve McNair's MVP award.
If you're going to make another similar quiz, I think that instead of having us name the most common last names, you should instead take the 42 first names on this quiz and have us name all of the last names that go with them. So we would have to list all 15 Joes, all 6 Steves, all 6 Bobs, all 6 Willies, etc. Sure, the likes of Wayne, Kareem, Gordy, Wilt, Magic, and Mario will be really easy, but thinking up all of the Kens, Georges, Dons, Jeffs, etc. should make for a great challenge. If I counted right, there would be 198 answers if you included everyone on this quiz. Obviously you could cut that way down if you wanted to by just listing Gretzky, Bonds, etc. once each instead of 9 and 7 times. You could either include which sport each guy played as a hint, or give the year(s) they won their MVP(s). If you make a quiz like that I will definitely play it more than once. |
