This is really good! The time seemed pretty tight to me, but maybe if you gave three minutes it would be quite easy as the pressure would be off.

I agree. You should make the time longer

Totally misread that. I thought the entire element contained "SPORCLE." When I finally gave up with a minute left I was like, "Carbon doesn't have...oops." Nice Quiz.

Excellent quiz. One Style suggestion (actually two). On the Style page, change the Number of Columns field to 4 Columns, then increase the font size of the answer cells to 12 points. No use having the big empty spaces on the side of each word.
Unless you're symbolizing the relative size of a nucleus to the electron shell...

@sproutcm: thanks for the pick. Surprisingly, I only just noticed even though its been over a week.

Great quiz. harder than it looks - somehow I missed oxygen (d'oh!) among others. have you seen my similar but slightly different twist on elements? http://www.sporcle.com/games/bac/ElementsWithout_S_P_O_R_C_L_E

Contra my earlier comment, now that you have lengthened it to three minutes, I found I could easily complete it in two!

It's a pity Kyrgyzstanium doesn't exist, either.

Excellent idea. Couldn't spell Praseodymium so decided it wasn't in there.
