Not sure what your criteria are to consider a word obscure, but when it didn't accept CAPE and TOME, it just wasn't fun anymore. Sorry. *shrug*

I don't blame you. I forgot to put Cape, Tome, & Chad back in after tweaking the rules. I just corrected it. Hopefully I didn't miss another one. Thanks.

Awesome quiz! Best geography quiz in a long while! (By the way, "East" for East Timor didn't work. I guess it's because the proper name of the country is Timor Leste, huh?)

aren't you missing Demo from the DRC? It is an approved word on the scrabble site.

Sorry for the omissions. I wanted to temporarily take the game offline but Sporcle gives a scary warning not to do that. CITY is fixed. I don't know how DEMO slipped through but thanks for catching it! I also added popup notes for ARAB (not scrabble legal) & EAST.

One tiny, tiiiiiiiny little thing: For NITE, it says (UK), but it should say (UK...) because it's in uNITEd States of America too. But other than that, fantastic, great idea, really interesting quiz.

Turk is a word, and Arab isn't! Sometimes these Scrabble listings are annoying. But still, a great fun quiz: thank you.

Super catch, VEC. ANON should definitely have been there. I just added it.

Great quiz...couple minor things: Beside "lest," you spell Timor-Leste wrong, and "kist" should say "Pakistan ..." because it also appears in Uzbekistan.

Is RAGU not a Scrabble-approved word? It seems like it should be.
