| This quiz has a ton of problems. You have "SG" as "GS" for Angus Young, "Coustume" should be "Custom" for Eddie Van Halen, though Van Halen's Frankenstrat wasn't even a Fender to begin with. Also, Chuck Berry's guitar should be an ES-335, and George Thorogood (which you also misspelled) used an ES-125. The Edge shouldn't even be on here since he uses so many different guitars, but if you want to keep him, why not accept a Gibson Explorer or Fender Strat, both of which he's been known to use frequently? A Telecaster could be accepted for Jimmy Page (which you have also spelled incorrectly), considering he used it for the first two albums as well as one of the most famous guitar solos in the history of rock, and you should probably include an EDS-1275, which he basically made famous. Joe Perry has used and is well known for using many other guitars as well, including Strats, and that famous BC Rich Bich (you could also include an ES-335, one of his favorite guitars in recent years is a white ES-335 with his wife's picture on it). And Brad Whitford using a First Act Lola? What? Clapton is famous for using a Les Paul, ES-335, and SG (The Fool) before he made the switch to Strats. Where did you get a Telecaster from for Peter Frampton? How about that Les Paul on the cover of Frampton Comes Alive? And why is Paul McCartney even in this quiz to begin with? While he is a guitarist (and for that matter, a Les Paul is a better answer than a Strat for him), his main instrument throughout his career has been bass...surely Lennon or Harrison would have been the better choice for this quiz. |
