| There always seems to be a lot of handwringing in the comments of football quizzes about all the alternate names of clubs, so I've done my best to accept many. However, to keep things manageable, I followed two rules: 1) I only accepted names that the club is commonly referred to in English language conversation. Of course, that doesn't always mean the name is IN English (for example, Real Madrid obviously counts rather than Royal Madrid). 2) I only accepted alternate names that a reasonable person would consider to be the most obvious name for the club. This doesn't mean I only accepted one name—for example, one reasonable person might consider "Internazionale" to be the most obvious name but another might consider it to be "Inter Milan". What this rule counts out is things like "Juve"—if you type in Juve and nothing pops up, it's not like you're going to say "oh, well I guess they're not in". You'd put in "Juventus".
