	The two-line pass no longer exists in the NHL, however I am unaware if it is in use in international hockey. Regardless, if you still want to keep the 'line' answer, I'd suggest replacing the clue with blue(or red)___ or even change the clue to be something like faceoff___, in which the answer would be circle. At least make it something more relevant to hockey as it is played today.

	So, judging by cdhmiamifan13's comment, I'm guessing that "three in the key" is another expression for the term "three second violation"? Okay. Never heard it called that.

	@jujuju: The two line pass still does exist in the NHL. From one blue line to the other is still called a two line pass.

	Three in the key is oldschool terminology for three seconds in the lane. The lane used to resemble a key shape in the "old" days. I am 39 and used to hear old timers say it all the time. No one said that the terms had to be current. I dont even watch soccer and I got 'golden' right. Some people complain about everything. I enjoyed the challenge.

	Watched, coached, played basketball. Three in the key never occurred. Rarely an announcer will mention a "three from the key" as part of their absurd penchant to make things rhyme. Lame clue ruins quiz.

	golden goal is not used by FIFA anymore, but that doesn't mean it's not used. For exemple, I know high school and college still use it.

	Other alternatives for "three in the key" mentioned on this page: "three in the lane" has about 2 million, and none of the results from the first page refer to the violation in question; "three seconds in the key" has 250,000; "three in the paint" has ~2.5 million, with again none of the first results referring to the three in the key violation; "three seconds foul" has 72 results, and most of the basketball-related results refer to a DEFENSIVE three seconds violation; "three from the key" has 2 million, and most of the basketball related ones are about at three-point shot from the top of the arc. Conclusion: "three in the key" is by FAR the most common way of referring to what the rulebook officially calls the "three second rule" (30,000 hits, if you were wondering).

	There is no "2 line pass" anymore... a 2 line pass from blue line to blue line is perfectly legal (although almost impossible to stay onsides). 3 In the key is fairly common slang for a lot of college broadcasts but you don't hear it much in the pros because there are fewer instances.

	To settle the two line pass debate: Two line passes have always existed and will always exist. It's just that they used to be illegal and now they are not.

	Just to clear things up, I was referring to the infraction in my first comment which no longer exists. Nobody refers to it as a two-line pass now because its unnecessary, its the same as any other pass.

	sixsevenfiftysix, I don't think google hits is a great barometer. The second listing for "three in the key" is in reference to music, the fourth listing refers to slang for an amount of cocaine. The first several pages of "three second violation" are all basketball...

	How have people not heard of three in the key...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_seconds_rule...it's one of the most popular variations I would complain alot more about point after touchdown.
