	very good mix of movies. there are a lot of amazing movies on this list and if bonnie only considers 2 or 3 of these movies really good, she may have the worst tastes in movies of all time. you should stick to watching reality tv.

	I was pretty surprised myself that The Silence of the Lambs missed out. Most of the movies on here (that I've seen) are "really good" or better.

	Bonnie's comment notwithstanding, The AV Club does have some questionable taste in movies. I was just reading their most hated movies of the 90s and was surprised to see ones I loved - Life Is Beautiful and Falling Down, as "most hated."

	Not sure which films Bonnie has on her list, but The ___ Witch Project was one of the biggest wastes of a couple of hours ever.

	Regarding the "most-hated list": those were done by individual writers and many of the films that are listed by one writer or another as most hated are routinely praised on the site. For what it's worth.

	Any best movie list that has Starship Troopers on it is hard to take seriously. I understand it is personal preference, but it is obviously missing A LOT of great movies from the 90's. Shawshank Redemption, Goodfellas, Dances with Wolves, American Beauty, Unforgiven, Fargo and Silence of the Lambs should all be on any list of the best movies of the 1990's.

	For those complaining about the quality (or lack thereof) of the list, this is just a sampling of the Onion A. V. Club top 50 films of the decade; Unforgiven and Goodfellas both make the top ten, and others listed above in the comments undoubtedly made the top 50. You can check the source link for the entire list, if you're curious (or if you're tempted to complain about, e.g., American Movie being left off the list). As for some of the absences, well, it'd be kinda unfair to have __________ (1992) or __________ (1990) listed, don't you think?
