For the record, the 2004 WS ended on 10/27/04. The ALCS was still being played on 10/17 (game 7 of that series was 10/20). And "tsunami" should be an acceptable answer for the Indian Ocean Earthquake.

@Quiz Maker: The reason "9/11" came up as "9" is that, when you put "9/11" in the answer box, it interpreted like this: "9" is the answer, and "11" is an alternate answer for "9". If you change "9/11" to "9-11" or something like that, you won't have that problem.
