Enter an answer in the box below
Correctly named answers will show up below
Answers do not have to be guessed in order
Each answer has had its consonants removed. To make things easier I've added the length of each word in the answer as well. E.g Abraham Lincoln would be AAA IO (7,7). For this quiz, Y is not a vowel.

Hmmm... Do I want to start the debate by saying the "y"s in Kyrgyzstan are vowels? No, not really. Otherwise, very well done game!

Wow. Liked this a lot, very hard. If you're reading this and you complete it (no-one has yet), tell me because I'd be interested to see who can. Or would like sequels, for that matter.

Much harder than the classing eliminating the vowels version. Very nice challenge. Nominated.

Madagascar works for the Kyrgyzstan clue. And if you're not going to consider "y" a vowel, even when it serves as one, the instructions should say that.

fidelio: madagascar would be aaaa, each vowel still counts... I do agree about the y... a,e,i,o,u sometimes y -- this is the sometimes!!! but it probly wouldn't have helped me anyway

I figured out Cincinnati, but "Bengals" was a total guess to me, as I don't know any NFL teams. But how was that the first 7-letter word that I could come up with? (it really was!)

For shame, Sporcle community! Only guessing Kyrgystan 45% of the time! Even if you don't know if is there, always try it for a country quiz.

Hey, great quiz, but one thing. For the countries clue "A", wouldn't Chad work as well?

It works for the letters, but doesn't have the correct length.

Admit it, you thought of Kyrgyzstan then worked backwards to create a whole quiz...

Chad wouldn't work for lack of letters (4 instead of 10). The same reason my Macbeth was no match for Hamlet.

This was far more difficult than I expected. I got so befuddled I didn't even think of Kyrgyzstan!

I know that all Y's were clarified to not be vowels but Technically the Y's in Kyrgyzstan are vowels... they're when the "sometimes Y" rule comes into play :P

Of course the 'y's in Kyrgyzstan are technically considered vowels. But let's not take anything more than need-be from what is clearly the best clue/response ever on Sporcle. :D

Is it bad that I thought of Harrison Ford before I thought of the correct answer?

sorry but this is BS. the Ys are DEFINITELY vowels (what were you thinking anyway) and I'm surprised the Sporcle fanatics are letting you off the hook so easily. I was typing and retyping Madagascar like, 10 times before I realized this quiz was effed and stopped bothering.

But Madagascar has 4 As, not one as in the clue.

Yes but since nothing else made sense, I didn't know whether the actual word was a mistake or whether the A being written only once since it's the only vowel was a mistake.

Honestly, Kyrgyzstan was the easiest one to get in the entire quiz, as long as you're familiar with that country it should be the first one to pop into your head when seeing A (10).

I forgot how to spell Kyrgystan. Ow. More seriously, the AE for Shakespeare could also be Macbeth - shouldn't that be accepted, or at least a bonus? I really enjoyed this - thanks.

....and I know I just omitted the Z - that just proves I cant spell it.
