Some of these are really patterns (source says so too!). Appaloosa, piebald and skewbald are all patterns. Roan is also a pattern, but is more accepted as a color than the others so it would probably be fine to keep that one. You could just change the quiz to colors and patterns though! It's also kind of confusing in terms of how many variations of the same basic color you decide to use. For example, you list liver chestnut and sorrel, but not blood bay or fading black or rose grey. There are TONS of variations and names of variations, that I think it might be easier to just reduce the colors to basic bay, grey, black, etc. Perlino and grullo/grulla could be added, too! Finally, a "tricolor" horse doesn't exist, it's simply a bay (or any bay dilute) with a pinto or appaloosa pattern. Keep making horse quizzes!! |
