Goddamnit this is another quiz that uses rankings of the top 40 US metropolitan zones, which means all we end up doing is naming them.

I'm from Finland, which is like the safest place in the world, and I assume that even the safest on this list doesn't come even close to living here. Let alone LA or Chicago, for example. LOL But I got 40/40, so I have nothing to complain about the quiz and the list...

Any list with Washington, Baltimore, Detroit, and Los Angeles is somehow flawed. Not saying you did a bad job on the quiz, but I have a hard time believing the credibility of this list.

@Converge - Hope these are better. Also, just to clarify these stats aren't based solely on crime rates. Check the link for more info. I thought the study was pretty interesting, but I guess not many others agree.

weird criteria for crime list. like camden, st louis and detroit, which normally rank as most dangerous cities.

This is a horribly designed quiz. It's just a list of the 40 biggest metros in the US, as noted above. It's NOT a list of the safest cities if you list ALL of them. Also, there should be some unit given for each entry if possible.

those cities are NOT safe. in fact, several of them are among the MOST dangerous cities
