Good quiz. Wasn't Sheik Yerbouti a studio album, though?

Should accept "Cruising with Ruben and the Jets". And I second Shotgunnova.

Francesco Zappa? 200 Motels? And of course Sheik Yerbouti.

I agree, definitely 200 Motels and Sheik Yerbouti should be on the list. Francesco Zappa isn't strictly Zappa's music. It was more like a test run of the Synclavier, using an actual Italian composer's classical music.

Limiting to strictly studio only albums really cuts the number of albums down. So many of Zappa's songs were first released on live albums, and many "studio" albums included parts scavenged from live recordings. This is almost too gray an area to make a good quiz.
