Michigan-Huron? That's new to me. What's your source?

I'm surprised to see Michigan-Huron on here, given common perceptions, but I have read that it indeed should be one lake because it has a uniform water level.

Why, on three of them, do you have to include the word 'lake' but not on the rest? You shouldn't have to enter the word at all, but it is especially odd that you have to add it for three. I understand wanting the word 'sea' on the ones that are called seas but aren't, but not ones called 'lake'.
