Chris went looking through some of Alexa's Top 100 sites (plus a personal favorite). Can you figure out the order of visits, filling in the squares with the numbers 1 through 25?
Websites fall ONLY under the categories given, even if the actual definition has some wiggle room (e.g. Yahoo! is a search engine, not a web portal, for the purposes of this quiz). "Numbers" mean the visit order (first site visited is 1, etc) unless specifically denoted as column number. A small amount of outside knowledge is required, and some basic math.

	In Sina's clue, what do you mean when you say the numbers are placed next to each other? Seems really vague to me.

	texasterrapin: ebay's clue says the search engines all have to be visited in a row, so you can work out from the rest of the board that the search engines are in #13-#19. Then Facebook has to be 20 and Yahoo! 14. Eagle3, that clue was giving me such trouble and your question seems to have spurred a better phrasing: "The BBC Online number is a two-digit number whose digits are the eBay and Taobao numbers in some order." If that's still not clear, feel free to poke me again.

	Maybe you could clarify Sporcle's clue, saying that the column sums are not in order from left to right, but rather sorted into ascending order. That threw me off for a bit.

	There's an error in step 10 of your walkthrough - you say Bing has to be 16, but that's already been placed. I think you mean to say 18 for Bing.

	Taobao's clue is a little ambiguous - it could either mean "in each row, all of the numbers except for one are either even or odd," or "in each row except for one, all of the numbers are either even or odd."

	Ok, that was a fun quiz after I got over one clue- for Youtube's clue, I thought it meant square in the number sense. I got 25 (5 squared), but I couldn't figure out what the square root of 11 was. Other than that, it was great.

	Nice puzzle! Since it looks like you set the puzzle up so that you don't want any useless clues, I just want to point out that the IMDB clue (all numbers in the 2nd column are less than 10) is not necessary. You can already figure that out using Sporcle's clue. You'll already have the 1 and 3 revealed in the 2nd column, and after YouTube is found, the lowest numbers left are 6,7,8. The only way to get a sum of 25 in a column with those numbers remaining is to have 6,7,8 in the 2nd column. I'll leave it up to you if you want to leave the clue in or not. In the meantime, enjoy a CP :)

	Oh hey, thanks! And that's a good point. Which I guess leads to a philosophical question: is it better to have extraneous clues so there's more than 1 method to solve the puzzle, or none so that it's maximally challenging? I will think about it, anyway. Thanks again.

	Fun one. Not sure if this true for many other logic puzzles, but my solution worked out differently than your walkthrough. So, I guess this is a fuzzy logic puzzle?

	@hibernia: Do you mean you arrived at the same final solution a different way, or that you think you have an final solution that fits all the clues but doesn't match the answers I think you're supposed to get? If it's the first, that's not at all surprising--there are usually a few clues you haven't fully solved yet, so which one you choose to do next can change the solution path. As long as the clues are all true & sufficient to determine the final answer (which in this case they are, if I didn't make any mistakes), it's partially just what your brain wants to solve next. But if it's the second, that's a little more concerning...

	GREAT job! I started out the first few thinking, "oh, great, this is gonna be another stupid logic puzzle that basically gives away all the answers." Little did I know! Loved it, especially the important role that math played. One small thing, that could possibly be an ambiguity- when I read the Flickr clue, I assumed "2 pairs" meant 2 SEPARATE pairs, as in, the clue was necessarily about 4 boxes (with no possibility of only 3 being used for the whole clue.) It didn't mess me up, as that ended up being the case, just thought I'd point it out, in case you wanted to meddle with the wording a bit. And no, its NOT fuzzy logic. There were a few things I did slightly differently than the walk-through also (SMALL things, like I knew the search engines were 13-19 the moment 12 was taken), but you're right- its more of a difference in order of thinking than problems with sufficiency. Nice, NICE work!

	Like your Bingo quiz, this was challenging (I had to use pencil and paper to solve) but lots of fun!!! I plan to link both of them to my website (I teach algebra at a private school and some of my kids would love these puzzles--and this one has some great math in it). I also rated both five globes.
