I made this because there seem to be quite a few movies based on children's books coming out soon. My quiz is similar to CountingCrowes' quiz http://www.sporcle.com/games/CountingCrowes/Childrens_Books_Movies on the same topic, but more encompassing and with newer movies. Hope you enjoy it! Let me know if this is too hard.

I love this, although I am incredibly depressed that so far I'm the only person to know Peter S. Beagle's book. If you want more suggestions, there's also The Secret of NIMH (Robert C. O'Brien, 1982), Tuck Everlasting (Natalie Babbitt, 2002), and The NeverEnding Story (Michael Ende, 1984).

Wait, Twilight wasn't a children's book! By the way, I'd add Shrek (William Stieg, 2001) to the list.

Haha, Twilight always seemed childish to me (no offense to fans). That said, it is a teen book, so I'll take it off if you guys want me to.

@ katesutton: I guessed it, and I own the book :) More suggestions (a sequel, perhaps?): The Spiderwick Chronicles (Holly Black and Tony DiTerlizzi, 2008) and Diary of a Wimpy Kid (Jeff Kinney, 2010).
