If you like this quiz, you may want to try other decades (70s, 80s, or 90s TV by Actor). Thanks for playing!

How can you do such a quiz and not include Gossip Girl, whose cast has, as a group, the most ridiculous set of first names of any television show ever?

I never really watched most of the ones I missed, but I'm disgusted for not getting It's Always Sunny, probably my favorite show currently on the tube. I'm as stupid as Charlie Kelly!

Glad to see AD and Modern Family make the list. Was kinda hoping for some Chuck though. Awesome quiz.

You know you're desperate when you're trying things like "iCarly," "Cavemen," and "The Mullets." And you know you're a loser when those are three shows that actually come to mind for you.

Nothing against a fantastic quiz, but when did Sporcle stop accepting the abbreviated version of the answer for Neil and Cobie?

This quiz needs "Joan of Arcadia" so all four Traveling Pants sisters would be on the list.

I'm surprised that more people got Boston Public than Deadwood. I'm surprised that anyone even remembers Boston Public. I kinda miss that show.

@redsxfenway: I love 'Deadwood', yet 'Molly' didn't make me think of it. I only got it because I started trying shows I liked.

For "John & Katey", I wrote "John & Kate plus 8". The question asks for year 2002. The show started 2007. Maybe the Gosselin kids started their acting in Kate's womb in 2002 ???

I agree that it would be cool to see more shows on here, especially some of the really good shows mentioned above. However, given that we didn't have to guess in order, having too many shows just makes it a game of "guess as many current tv shows as possible." So I liked the way it left off a lot of memorable shows.

Stillwater I had the same reaction. Most of the shows I missed were ones I'd never seen and so would have a hard time naming any of the actors but I also missed Sunny, one of my favorite shows. Also @dbcint, I think that abbreviations vary from quiz to quiz. I wish Sporcle would adopt a uniform standard on that, especially for things like BSG which are almost always written out in abbreviations.

I'm saddened Hannah Montana is on here. I'd much rather see some of the other shows mentioned above. And more cable shows would be nice. (no love for The Closer? How about The Tudors? Or True Blood?) I think a sequel is in order (because, as somebody pointed out above, we have 9 1/2 years to wait for the next one.)

I suspect the choice of the shows was based on creating unique and interesting clues, rather than personal or critical favorites. And that's exactly how it should be. Clues like "Miley" and "Keiko" will lead you to a unique show. And
googlebird
, you did a great job of providing intriguing clues.

What about other shows like "Smallville" (2001), "American Dreams" (2002), "The Shield" (2002), "Joan of Arcadia" (2003), "One Tree Hill" (2003), "Brothers & Sisters" (2006), "Dexter" (2006), "Damages" (2007), or "Breaking Bad" (2008)?

Great quiz... odd that you went Peter & Kelly for The OC instead of one of the kids as they really were the focus of the show. And Mischa would've been a great help there.

I like the idea but it would be more fun if you had to type the show into the correct spot. The way it is, you can just guess random shows that have been popular and get most of them right.

I don't know if it's a problem on my end or what, but for some reason it wouldn't accept "Desperate Housewives", "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" or "Weeds." I'm not sure why. I'm sure I spelled them correctly.

Could "Sons of Anarchy" (Katey Sagal, John Lewis) count for John and Katey? Not complaining, just wondering.
