Scads too much time, but sheer bloody brilliance.

@rockgolf - Thanks for the compliment. I lowered the time to 8 minutes. But in defense of those of us who like time to think, recall, type, and scratch an itch, please don't insist that we multi-task.

Super well done... I guess my eyes just scanned right over The Cat in the Hat, thinking I must have already typed it in, because while looking at the "see the most missed" page, I cannot believe I missed it!

Folk singer Al Stewart once did a song lamenting that he was "born too late to see Josephine Baker". After looking at that picture, I can understand why -- holy cow, she was drop-dead stunning. She'd be a knockout in a beanie propellor hat. (BTW, great game.)

Awesome idea and great variety, but it was really annoying that the rows in the images were columns in the answers.

@mraithel13: Marc Bolan was the lead singer of the British glam-rock act T.Rex, best known in America for the song "Bang A Gong (Get It On)". He was killed in a car crash while his band were still very hot in the UK.

I wish it would accept WB Frog for those who don't know the name Michigan (just like it accepts Monopoly for Rich Uncle Pennybags). I started to type "Warner Brothers Frog" and it gives me Marilyn Manson. Then I realized that Manson's real name is Brian Warner.

So you're telling me that's MICHAEL Jackson? I still think that picture looks more like Janet.

@LtDogg - Top hats and bow ties tend to go together, but I used all different people/characters on the two quizzes. Thanks for playing both!

@idpsych: I agree. I honestly thought it was Janet when I guessed Jackson. (But my screen did have words crossing the image semi obscuring the face.)

I would swear Jim Carrey in that pic (orange, row 2) is David Cross. He's a better comedian, so I couldn't reconcile him out of my head to the right answer.

LOL I love that I'm not the only person who noticed the glaring omission of Sir Topham Hat! He's the first person I thought of when I saw this quiz (well, after Mr. Monopoly) :) Great idea for a quiz and a nice diversity of characters...Just miss Topham. :)

yeah - fat controller and brunel are 2 i'd have liked to see here - as they're people famously only seen with top hats. di caprio and jackson wore one in 1 film or music video.
