Even in her 40s Natalie Wood was absolutely stunning.

I was thoroughly convinced that Spencer Tracy was Alan Napier, the butler from the 60s Batman series. And that Raul Julia was Massimo Troiso from that Italian movie the Postman.

Am I the only person whose initial reaction to Jill Clayburgh was to think, "Wait, Diane Keaton is dead?!?!"

Might be a good idea to explain why there's a star next to the River Phoenix film.

I know it can't be included because it would be a duplicate answer, but R.I.P to Brandon Lee as well.

@geoneb I wanna say Unicron in "Transformers: The Movie" was the last role for Orson Welles? That would have been an awesome clue for the biggest nerdbombers among us. Came out a bit less than a year after he died.

Let's not forget Peter Finch, who was the first actor to posthumously win an Oscar, for Network.

Finch won his Oscar posthumously but Network was released two months before he died, so it wouldn't fit this quiz.

Neat, if sad, quiz. Of course Vic Morrow died during the filming of Twilight Zone. And Eddie Murphy's career must have died, oh jeez, several times now.... Yul Brynner's awesome anti-smoking PSA was made to be released after his death.

Massimo Troisi wrote as well as starred in the beautiful Il Postino. He postponed heart surgery so that he could complete the film. The day after filming was completed, he suffered a fatal heart attack. He was nominated for an Academy Award.

Did very well (missed 5), but had no clue of whitney houston who was the fourth highest guessed. Didn't look ANYTHING like her... I was trying to think of someone from the 50s or 60s to no avail.

You HAD to include a picture of Marty Feldman while squinting. If he were bug-eyed as usual I'd have got him. :)

If you don't know the actors name you can guess the last word in the movie title to get it.

First thought: some die before their time. Second thought: at least they have the movies to kind of preserve their legacy. Third thought: not sure I'd want Street Fighter to be my legacy.

@iceman1731: That is weird. I kept wondering why it took titles for Sparkle and Brainstorm but not any of the others that I knew. 'Course it would have helped if I had read the instructions correctly and put the actors' names in.

@amyevg and @Kim - "Giant" was James Dean's last film, but "Rebel Without a Cause" was released after his death as well. No mistake, I just chose to go with his best known film.
