The Beatles Logic Puzzle

Really good quiz!! One thing though, I don't think the Beatles ever did a song called "Love Me To". "Love Me Do", yes ... "Love Me To", I don't think so.

I with agree Ibarez, but a great game (and fab idea)
Dec 27th, 2010 at 04:35 GMT
Super quiz. But fix the Love You To thing.
Dec 27th, 2010 at 04:41 GMT
Thanks all. I made of few changes. Hopefully, it's right now.
Dec 27th, 2010 at 11:07 GMT
"Love You Too" is still wrong. It's "Love You To". Other than that, it's a great quiz!
Dec 27th, 2010 at 13:59 GMT
Very unique quiz! Nominated due to its uniqueness.
Dec 27th, 2010 at 14:02 GMT
Once "Love You Too" is changed to "Love You To," this really ought to be on the front page. Soon.
Dec 27th, 2010 at 15:17 GMT
Apparently, I had "Love You To" right, but I figured it was wrong, since so many sites list it as "Love You Too". I changed it back to "Love You To". Thanks to all for not voting it down while I tried to get it correct.

good work! one of the best Beatles quizzes I've played
Dec 27th, 2010 at 16:47 GMT
Cool idea to make the well known Beatles songs into a dificult quiz.
Dec 27th, 2010 at 18:08 GMT
Great quiz! I was actually thinking about making a quiz using a word cloud when I made my "Famous People Filled With Words" quizzes, but I did not know how to make it into a quiz. But this is a spectacular idea! 5 orbs.
Dec 27th, 2010 at 18:25 GMT
To be honest, the quiz wasn't quite as enjoyable to do as I anticipated, because it became very difficult to keep track of which words I still needed to use. But, so what? This is still one of the most fresh and imaginative quizzes Sporcle has seen in some time, and it deserves five globes and a nomination. Well done.

I'm curious, why isn't "In My Life" an answer (as all of those words are in the word cloud)?
Dec 27th, 2010 at 21:25 GMT
@RadiationPuppy - Good catch. I've added "In My Life". There may be other combinations in the word cloud that didn't occur to me. Just let me know. Thanks.
Dec 27th, 2010 at 23:10 GMT
Fantastic quiz. One you missed is "Long, Long, Long."
Dec 27th, 2010 at 23:22 GMT
@zoothorn - Added to the answers. Thanks. I will update the image at the end of the evening in case any others need to be added.
Dec 27th, 2010 at 23:31 GMT
I just looked up "The Postman and Eleanor Got Together". That's one I don't need to add:}

I would have done better if I knew the actual titles to their songs. I can sing them, but don't have a clue to what they're called.

For some reason, this wasn't accepting "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" or "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away." Is anyone else experiencing this difficulty?
Dec 28th, 2010 at 06:15 GMT
It's missing "I Need You"
Dec 28th, 2010 at 06:53 GMT
@tberg14 - Thanks. I added it.
Dec 28th, 2010 at 15:49 GMT
awesome quiz - I now know what a word cloud is!
Dec 28th, 2010 at 17:32 GMT
Great quiz! Now do one for Zeppelin!
Dec 29th, 2010 at 17:10 GMT
very very fun quiz.

Creative and unique love it!

Very unique and enjoyable. Nice job.

My only complaint is making a word cloud with songs that share no other words with other songs is just superfluous (i.e. Helter Skelter). There is no need for those titles as they don't add to the over all cloud. When all the words in a title are the smallest it feels that those titles should be excluded. That being said I think this is a terrific idea for a quiz.

@TheLuggage - Thanks for the compliment and comment. I included some songs with only unique words on purpose. I have seen many "name all the _____ songs" quizzes. I don't even try to take most of them. I need more help than that! Hopefully, people will like this format, because it gives folks a chance to figure out a few answers, even if they aren't super familiar with the topic. I want the person taking the quiz to think "Oh yeah, Paperback Writer! I forgot all about that song."

there's no option for 1-word titles, but "Help" is just sitting there wanting to be its own answer
Jan 7th, 2011 at 18:22 GMT
Quiz is great! I also disagree with TheLuggage, the puzzle is much more fun when a good deal of the words are only used once. I think you should include "I want you", at least as a bonus answer, as "She's so heavy" is between brackets. 5/5

I would love to see this for other bands. Maybe The Stones & The Who?
Sep 23rd, 2011 at 16:11 GMT
When I saw the word 'hide' I first thought of "Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey" but then I couldn't find 'monkey'... sad times. Great quiz though.

Awesome quiz! Now I have Beatles songs stuck in my head. (Did get tripped up with Sgt. instead of the spelled out word, but otherwise it was great!)
Sep 23rd, 2011 at 16:35 GMT
Superb quiz. Better use of the word cloud than the TV one a while back -- having the most commonly used words appear bigger makes it a better challenge.

This player said: Because of that blasted Kevin Bacon movie "He Said She Said," he said "He Said She Said" not "She Said She Said." Who puts all those things in my head?
