Eventually the Jets are going to have to stop signing "washed up" free agents. But I think getting Manning would be a great move in the short term. Trading up in the draft is extremely dangerous, especially for a "non-pro style" quarterback

1. The Jets already have two decent running backs. 2. If there is any team that clings to their good players, its the Chicago Bears. 3. There's no way Matt Forte will be available. 4. Even if he is, he's coming off an MCL tear, which is a bad omen for a back that likes to work in space.
