| @midnight: Your utah friends heard about how great it was i'm sure, and then they tried it, and they are still wondering what the hype is about. Just like eating a Gino's cheesesteak in Philly, it's disgusting. And I'm not sure what you mean by preparing food as ordered. You think most chains have pepperoni pizzas just sitting around waiting for someone to order one? No. Go into a Papa John's sometime, they edge, stretch, and slap every dough to order, sauce it, top it, and cook it right in front of you. And they don't use frozen anything (their stores don't even have a freezer in them), I bet your New York places do. Oh and I've never seen a NY pizza place that didn't have slices ready to go under a warmer, but somehow that is fresh and made to order too right? So, sounds like a chain restaurant makes fresher pizza to order than your people, it's crazy. The problem i think is New Yorkers in general, they think they have the best everything. We's gots da best pizza, da best baseball team, da best cheesecake, da best strip steak, da best city in da world, da best italian food, da best chinese food, da best shopping, da best tourist sites, da best calzones, da best da best da best da best. Just shut the f*** up already. |
