Quite nice, but you couldn't find one for Lithuania?

How did you get the pictures formatted the way they were?

4 globes simply because the pictures are too small, but I love the idea.

They're stamps, they aren't bigger?

You've found some mighty old ones for some stamps. When I was young I used to collect stamps too. I learnt a lot from them. One thing catching my attention in this test, some stamps have its country name blurred and some not

Great quiz. Some you can guess by knowing the country's name in its own language, some by recognising the language, some by recognising national landmarks and some by recognising old currencies. Challenging.

Nice quiz. Prepare to be downvoted by militant Lithuanians...

I'd love to see sequels for other continents.

Great quiz, except that the images are too small. Reading them is nearly impossible for me. I agree with joebobs that sequels for other continents would be terrific. Is there a way that you can make the image next to the answer box larger?

I like how Vatican City follows Pope John Paul II. As for the small size of the images, well, that's how big the stamps are themselves, right? I had to squint close on some of them, but I'm not going to complain

Thank you all for the kind words and the helpful comments. Re Lithuania...that is an oversight, which I will correct posthaste. Re the resolution--that is a function of some part of the Sporcle formatting process, because the original images are much clearer. Also working on that.

Will you be following up with stamps for other continents?

@joebobs: Excellent question! I'd love to, though I want to get the image resolution issue worked out before I put the time into it.

Pretty sure Monaco also used the same design as that French stamp, but still that's a nitpick, as it's easily getable. Great quiz.

How did you format the pictures like this without getting the quiz verified by sporcle??

New slideshow format, which should resolve the image resolution issues. Enjoy!

I thought this was a terrific quiz, once I'd worked out how to use the controls to move forward in step with the questions. Lovely images, a real pleasure to tackle this! Thanks.

The quiz was a great idea, but the slideshow was sort of difficult for me. After one or two uses, the pause button in the slideshow stopped working, so it kept moving on without me being able to keep up. Anyone else have this problem?

Any idea why the worth of the stamp from Kosovo is indicated with the euro-sign, because the euro is not Kosovo's currency?
