Cool quiz, although I'd argue that Norfolk "anchors" the Virginia Beach area, even though it has a smaller population. But I guess that's a matter of opinion.

I would agree that Norfolk definitely anchors Hampton Roads commercially, but that's not really the point of the quiz.

Census Bureau calls it the 'Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News MSA' so I guess Norfolk has taken the #2 spot in the metro area (according to them). It's interesting, can't think of another example where a city has surpassed its neighbor to become the main city in the metro.

Great idea for a quiz. Two style suggestions though: Make the font a little smaller so I don't have to scroll at all, and make the length of the column with the populations smaller so that the names of every city fit on one line, instead of two (North Las Vegas and Saint Petersburg are currently wrapping to a second line).

To add to what Puckett says, another way to reduce the scrolling would be to put the cities with multiple answers (Dallas, Los Angeles) next to each other, and the ones with only one answer next to each other.
