	I got 24 and I also missed one which I can't seem to put my finger on... rather not keep reloading and trying them all, but anyone know what it is? It's also apparently the least guessed answer, according to stats. Whichever one this is, I'm shocked it's more populous than New Mexico, Oregon, Nevada, Kentucky, Iowa, and probably other ones I already guessed.

	^That would be South Carolina. Knowing Electoral Vote counts makes this very easy, since they're basically population-proportionate (once you take away the 2 senate ones.)

	@Zac6009 It's total population. I used to live in NM and ABQ has about 25% of the population. There are miles and miles between towns and those towns are small. There are like a dozen counties that have a population of less than 10K, and one that had 700. I think there are only 3 congressmen maybe 4 now. Very small state population wise. IDK for sure but I'd bet that SC has at least double the population of NM.

	My strategy: pick the states with NFL teams. If an NFL team plays in that state, then it is in the upper half of the population. To get the other three, first treat the Panthers as half North Carolina's and half South Carolina's. Next, pretend the Redskins play in Virginia. Finally, treat the Crimson Tide as a pro team. Then you get them all.

	As a Brit and not knowing anything about sports teams, I went on size assuming that the smallest states would be more densly populated than the larger - a wrong assumption as it turns out. Sometimes I'd like these quizzes to give you 3 wrong guesses before they kick you out to make it easier to learn new stuff...

	Has the wording changed since some of these comments went up--I understood it to mean states with highest populations as opposed to density (where RI should do well, being so small but having an east coast urban core, despite a small population). Like the electoral votes comments above indicate--total human population, not just density. Missed three, but no idea which. May have to play a few more times to figure that out. Great election-eve timing on this one.

	Surprised Oklahoma isn't on here, given the way that one of my friends from Tulsa hypes it up as the best state in the USA, while everyone else teases him that it's a mini-Texas. Picked OK instead of Louisiana with only one guess left because of said friend. BAH. I shall be sure to sabotage our trip to CostCo tomorrow now.
