	Also, the clues for the movies from 1979 and 1976 only give a single letter and are thus way too vague. I would suggest using different examples.

	@IronDragline: the 1979 movie gives the first letter and it's obvious it's a 5 letter word. I wouldn't call that overly difficult. The 1976 movie won Best Picture. Not exactly obscure. Nearly half of all quiz takers have gotten both as of this comment, so I'm not sure I would call them "way too vague." Besides, what's wrong with including answers that make you stop and think about them? They can't all be as easy as For---- Gump.

	Lol, sorry about the "Moonring Kingdom," it's fixed. No idea how that was even a possibility. I also changed "TV show" to "movie," as I made the TV show one first, so the autocomplete must have just used the old format. Thanks for the feedback!

	pete32782- How is it "obvious" that the 1979 picture is a "5 letter word"? Where is this information? And you do realize that there are multiple films from 1979 that have A as their first letter? In fact, dozens of them? As for the 1976 movie, the fact that it won Best Picture is not mentioned anywhere in the quiz either, so that's irrelevant. All we know is that it's a picture from that year that ended with the letter "y", which again describes multiple movies. I'm happy that some really hardcore Sproclers that take a bunch of unpublished movie quizzes guessed famous movies from that time and got it correct, but that doesn't change how bad and ambiguous those clues were.

	By the way, I enjoyed the quiz; it's a neat concept done well. However, I would definitely change the movies for 1976 and 1979, especially since there are likely a number of valid alternative answers, even if they're not as famous...

	Apparently the question-rewording didn't save the first time. It should be good now. As for the five-letter movies, let me know of any alternatives you think of and I'll add them as alternates, but otherwise, most people will likely guess the most famous ones.

	@IronDragline: Hmm. I don't know, the phrasing "can you name the FOUR-letter word found in a larger word in each movie title" followed by the given clue: A_____? One letter plus 4 letters equals 5 letters. And no, it's not irrelevant that the 1976 movie won Best Picture, because if you are at all familiar with movies, especially movies from that era, you're going to think of the more famous movies, especially ones that won Best Picture. My comment still stands; there is nothing wrong with challenging people to think about answers when the time limit allows it. If your exaggerations are to be believed, then Alien and Rocky would be guessed under 10% of the time because you either have to be a hardcore movie fan or get extremely lucky with a guess to get them right. But that's not the case, is it? They're both incredibly famous movies, and they're being guessed accordingly, considering the lack of letters in the clue. That doesn't make them "bad" or "ambiguous" clues. "Challenging" is a much better word to describe them.

	@pete32782 If you haven't noticed, the people taking this quiz ARE hardcore film fans. And they're also conditioned to think of a pool of about 200-300 really famous movies that get used over and over again in these quizzes. The point which you keep missing/ignoring is that ALTERNATIVE answers do exist for both of those questions, even if they're less famous. Ergo, they should be changed to ones without alternatives.

	Why should they be changed instead of accepting alternative answers? You do know that's a possibility, right, especially considering giveupyet has already stated that they will accept alternates if produced? By the way, keep in mind that these movies must also still form 4-letter words when the letter from the clue is removed. Since apparently you just want to be a squeaky wheel instead of doing the legwork and coming up with all these alternatives you feel MUST exist, I did it for you. I searched IMDB for 5-letter movies that start with A and came out in 1979. I found two, Aeiou, and Arnis. That's the entirety of your 1979 alternatives, and since neither eiou nor rnis are words, that leaves ZERO alternatives for the 1979 clue. I also searched 1976 5-letter movies that end in Y. I found 5: Emily, Lissy, Misty, Patty, and Vdovy. Emil, liss, patt and vdov are not words. That leaves "Misty" as the lone alternative for 1976. A movie that has garnered a whopping total of 18 user ratings on IMDB. Giveupyet, I don't know why I painstakingly searched through 3000+ movies for that one alternate answer, but there you are. Thus brings to an end this increasingly pointless debate.
