As indicated above by others, to be blunt, the search function on this web site sucks. Using new keywords, I've since found other versions of this particular quiz, so I see what people are saying, but with my initial keywords, nothing came up. What annoyed me initially was my "Sound-it-outs" quizzes, which are the only other quizzes Sprout has complained about. He calls these "Anguished English" quizzes- I've never before heard this phrase, and it makes no sense given the content of the quiz. Sprout, you specifically bother me because you leave comments on my quizzes that are just plain rude. Often I'm sure you have good points, but you are absolutely obnoxious about it. I respond to criticism well, as I'd hope you see in my responses to others' comments, but you never give any. I can't stand people who are rude and hide behind Internet anonymity. That is why your comments in particular bother me. Hejman has given me criticism in the past, as has Kicking222, etc., but they do so respectfully, and I am perfectly fine with this. Sprout lacks respect. I've had other good ideas on quizzes, several of which have been featured, but I only get negative rude comments from Sprout. The comment above from him is the only one I've ever gotten lately that has actually given advice or said something productive. So the bottom line of this long comment is this: This site is horrible as a search tool and I don't know how to get around that, but I'm more than willing to take criticism and make edits if what I've done has been done before- just let me know so I can fix it rather than leaving some obnoxious comment about how I'm copying people, because I'm absolutely not. |
