| @ginganinja: I actually think this is a really, really cool idea. However, I don't think it will make the Sporcle front page. As it is, you have a lot of inconsistencies. For example, you only change the spelling a few times (e.g., lead, Lincoln), you ignore certain letters (e.g., the 'd' in Black *Eyed* Peas), you're missing words (e.g., the 'and' in Earth, Wind, and Fire), your pictures are not similar (some are clipart, some aren't), and you inexplicably chose the Hindenburg disaster to represent "Zeppelin". I'm pointing this out because I like the idea so much that I really want it to show up on the Sporcle home page! I recommend making another but paying attention to those details or at least clarifying them in the instructions. I'd also recommend making a few harder by using some less obvious bands (maybe Band Aid? Psychedelic Furs?) or harder-to-recognize pictures (maybe a ewe for U2?). |
