I really liked this, but you might want to cite your source and explain their methodology.

I would like to point out that is more due to classism then racism. New York's minority population are more poor then the whites. There is no Group Areas Act or Jim Crow Act that promotes discrimination anymore

@Roman: De facto segregation is still segregation. Just because it isn't enforced by the law doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Most of these are no surprise but useful to know why Milwaukee is #1

Boston is much more segregated than half the cities of this list.

I'm surprised not to see Indianapolis on this list.

As a lifelong resident of Wisconsin and a current resident of Milwaukee, I can answer Michelle100's question. EVERY ethnic group (black, hispanic, polish, german, italian, etc) has their own little enclave in the city and, by and large, there is little mixing. That's why Milwaukee was my first guess in this quiz.

Buffalo is very segregated. I live in lancaster and my neighborhood has a couple hundred houses and only 4 that i know of are occupied by non-whites. The blacks live around the city and cheektowaga and the arabs live in lackawanna
