theyre not really that meaningless. for example, you can visibly tell where these 'meaningless' boundaries occur by how well streets are cleaned or plowed

I like meaningless city-boundary quizzes, because they're at least defined. Metropolitan areas, especially going region-to-region or international, are measured oh-so-differently.
