Need more than one minute. Two should be fine.

Agree that one minute is short but thought that two minutes would just end up with random guessing.

I think one minute is fine. A lot of people could just type all the presidents if it were two minutes. Great quiz.

I also like that for the living ones you put the year of birth.

interesting that 4 of the first 6 lived so long, then nobody until Hoover (the 31st)

I would remove the age from Bush and Carter and just leave the date and perhaps add the words 'still living'. This will minimize the need for updates to the quiz. Otherwise, you need to update twice every year.

Interesting how it seems to be mostly the really early ones (the Adamses, Jefferson, Madison) and then the really recent guys (Nixon onward), with the exceptions of Truman and Hoover (?). What happened to all the guys in the middle, I wonder, besides the obvious assassination victims?

I figured it was just President who reached the age of 80 while in office. Luckily I guessed Reagan first so I knew it must have been out of office. Still, was confusing for a bit.

Maybe quiz should be reworded to say, "Presidents who lived to at least 80," or "former Presidents who reached 80" so there's no confusion.

Got Madison as my last one with exactly 1 second on the clock. Tough quiz.

Interesting to see Hoover at less than 50% since it's his photo that's on the front page.

I think that the fact that I went to JMU is the only reason I got Madison.

sigh... I didn't bother typing in some of the first presidents because I though they wouldn't have lived pass 80, considering that in the 1700's and 1800's people didn't live as long as today.

I think a shorter life expectancy was due mainly to no vaccinations against measles, mumps, smallpox and no modern medical treatments for other ailments. As long as you didn't get sick, you probably lived as long as people do today. Now that people don't suffer from diseasers we can prevent or easily cure, the overall average lifespan goes up.

Excellent quiz. A bit of trivia: John Adams held the record for longest-lived president from 1803, when he surpassed George Washington's age, until 2001, when Ronald Reagan broke it. He was a long-lived fellow.
