Outstanding quiz! I can't wait for a sequel. :) Maybe in the next one include the Ford Model-T or the White House. Also, do you mind accepting "Mt. Rushmore" and "Transcontinental Railroad"? Still, great quiz!

Excellent quiz. It felt like I was watching a documentary! And I have to say, image 20 makes me scared of heights just looking at those men.

Oh yeah...sequel suggestion...the Gateway Arch. There are some good pictures of when they were joining the two legs.

I love the idea. I think a few more seconds for each picture would have been helpful.

Why did I try the Coliseum ... ? Another suggestion for a possible sequel: The Bridge On The River Kwai.

That was a top class quiz. Front page material for sure. (Annoyed at missing the Forth Bridge - so obvious when you know it).

Great quiz. Wonder how many people mistook the last picture for the Empire State Building (like I did).

Excellent. Eiffel tower reminded me of Cape Canaveral, so you might use that in future.

That's probably the easiest 5 Orbs & Nominated for me ever.
Let's use that nominate button below, people!
For the (fingers crossed) sequel, how about Toronto's CN Tower or the Burj Dubai?

Maybe accept London Bridge for Tower Bridge?

Excellent quiz! One recommendation, you might accept "Union Pacific Railroad," or "Golden Spike," for the transcontinental railroad one.

Great quiz, five globes. My only suggestion is that is should be shown as Rockefeller Center, not Centre, as it's in the U.S. (But accept both spellings.)

Thanks for playing. Glad people liked it.
Gladiators or Rocket Launchers didn't really occur to me but I can see your points.
There are some interesting shots of the White House from Harry Truman's time: http://www.whitehousemuseum.org/special/renovation-1948.htm. Not sure if the new West Wing would be as recognisable.
No. 20 "Lunch Atop a Skyscraper" was taken in 1932 and has a story all of its own. According to http://coastal.news14.com/content/38631/wilmington-resident-s-dad-finally-gets-credit-for-photo the photographer Charles C. Ebbets was only confirmed in 2003. And it seems that the reason for the Empire State association is because the photo was often credited to Lewis Hines.
Interesting that you mentioned Gateway – Petronas were trying to achieve something similar with their "Portal to the Infinite" but that might have been after they realised it wouldn't work as a brace.
Hopefully people are able to pause without too much inconvenience. I figured the pictures would be too small as thumbnails.
I'm assuming you mean the Bridge on the River Kwai film but on the real river there were 2 bridges and neither looked like the one in the movie. http://www.diggerhistory.info/pages-battles/ww2/kwai.htm
The CN Tower would have been a good one to use and you could nearly do 20 for Dubai alone.
I put in an "ee" for London Bridge but accepting London for Tower may be a bit too much like that myth about the sale.
I had Pacific Railroad in there and now Union and Golden Spike are in.
Center is now fixed.

Really, really awesome quiz! Agreed with Hejman though that a couple more seconds on each picture would be nice; or else just not having so much moving zoom, since that way, more of the time of each picture would actually show the
whole
picture.

Love the photos. Love the mellow slideshow. Love the idea. Love the quiz! I am surprised less than 10% of people got the last photo, as it is one of the most famous photographs of that era.
