Great quiz - should probably accept "Mausoleum at Halicarnassus" for the wonders section.

Great quiz, but I would look for something other than seven largest islands and seven largest countries. The other categories are true groups of seven; those are just the seven largest of a much larger group.

Also, you need to accept a lot more alternate answers for the seven wonders.

Should accept some variation for the great pyramid, like "giza" or "pyramid."

Caedus, Yukon is a territory, not a province.

Brilliant quiz, but you do need to accept more alternate answers for the seven wonders. scgal and podsednik are right. Also, accept all the answers with 'of' with 'at' instead, e.g. Lighthouse at Alexandria. I think spelling 'maussolus' with one 'l' and a 'u' instead of an 'o' is acceptable. I've seen it spelt that way elsewhere.

You should also take "Great Pyramids" or "Pyramids of Giza"

The seventh summit is not Mount Kosciuszko, but Puncak Jaya (also known as Mt. Carstensz or Carstensz Pyramid). Puncak Jaya, at 4,884 metres, is much taller than Mount Kosciuszko at 2,228 metres, and is located in the Papua province of Indonesia, which puts it on the Australian continent. Otherwise very good quiz.

@1447 - It depends on the definition of Australia really, this is a source of much date. But, regardless, Kosciuszko is the correct answer as it is one of the seven summits (rightly or wrongly), and Puncak Jaya is not. Mount Cook in NZ is also much taller than Kosciuszko, but it's not one of the seven summits either.

How come Mozambique isn't accepted for an African country beginning with M? Otherwise good quiz. Missed quite a few I should have got though.

I agree that the cities and countries don't really fit, because they're not classic sevens. But great quiz otherwise.

Great quiz!! Like others, don't get why Tokyo and Mexico City aren't in the top populated cities. Would have liked another minute... I am pokey, but still ran out time before getting to answer more than my usual.

Maybe for the wonders you should accept just the first word, such as "colossus" or "lighthouse". I tried typing "colossus of rhodes" many times just like that and it didn't accept it. Also, Yukon borders alaska, so there aren't really 7 in that category. Another minute would have been nice too. I didn't really have time to get to the last category before the time ran out. I don't think 10 minutes is unreasonable for a quiz of this size

Don't understand why Tokyo and Mexico City aren't at the top. Also, you need to accept a lot more alternate answers for the seven wonders. I typed in "pyramids" and "Giza", and it didn't give it to me. Good quiz, though.

@bernerd– according to the Messner list, Karsten's Pyramid is one of the seven summits. Since it's a question of which list one chooses to accept, it seems like both answers should be accepted on this quiz.

I'm glad everyone is enjoying the quiz! A few notes: The Yukon territory is a territory, not a province. I'm accepting about 8 answers for the Australian summit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_island_countries_and_territories_in_the_Indian_Ocean is the final word on that set. I think everyone should be satisfied with the seven wonders. You can now type 'Zeus' and it takes it.

Nice quiz, but I'm going to disagree with, it seems, most people on the seven wonders - some of the answers accepted are far too generous. There are lots of ancient temples and statues and not all are considered wonders, so "temple" or "statue" should not be enough without some mention of Diana/Artemis or Zeus respectively. I'm happy with "pyramids", since although there are other ancient pyramids it would be assumed in general conversation that anyone referring to "the Pyramids" would mean the ones at Giza.

@ChileNoseJam - Thank you for agreeing with me. People (see 20ish above are saying 'why didn't you accept this?' and you are the first one to say that something is to generic. @dtro - The title of that quiz says Can you name the Canadian Provinces and Territories?

Sorry for the double comment, but If I were you I would change the Ancient wonders section to the natural wonders. Ancient wonders are more historical than geographical, natural wonders are completely geographical.
