| Very good quiz, but it DOES need a little cleanup or at least some mroe leeway. I tried about 10 different combinations for WHIP, but your answer of "walks and hits per INNING pitched" needs to be expanded...allow "INNINGS pitched" as it is the way pretty much everyone says it. Might also allow "Walks plus hits" as this is also the way it seems it is usually said. I have NEVER seen the IRA abbreviation...I've always seen it as "IRS" (Inherited Runners Scored", so at least allow that as an answer. I knew what the abbr. was supposed to be but couldn't come up with the word "allowed" as i had never heard it used that way. To @jessbowen, no, SAC refers only to sacrifice bunts. Sac flys are shown as SF. I give the quiz a 4 for now...but 5 if you allow additional wordings as mentioned! |
