| I am a heterosexual male, and I would not consider myself a feminist. But I would never support the idea of a restaurant that has the theme of women waitresses in low cut tops serving burgers and has a name suggesting breasts. That's just low, and embarassing. I am no prude, but I don't see how people like the idea of stuff like that. Bear in mind I've never been to one of these places and I'm only just guessing what they are like. I do believe that men and women are quite different in biological terms. What I do not believe in is debasing and degrading women and treating them as though they are not really people and just trivial sex objects, which is what this restaurant seems to be doing. And then feminist academics blame this sort of thing on men, claiming that all men support such things, which is totally false. |
