| So Greenland is a constituent country of Denmark, but it is autonomous. In my opinion, including Greenland as part of Denmark is like (read: like, not exactly the same) as saying that Canada is part of the UK... In more general terms, if you were traveling to Greenland, you would say, "I'm going to Greenland," not "I'm going to Denmark." In my opinion, Greenland should not be included as part of Denmark for quizzes like this. If we're going to include associated regions/constituent countries/commonwealths, etc, we could argue to include Antarctic claims as well. And that would be lame.... |
