Are you only including the most recent AFI 100 list? Because under the AFI 100 originally released in 1998, Milos Forman would be in (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Amadeus).

I'm laughing at joewhitey because I just was going to post that there should be more time than five minutes! Good quiz though.

what the heck is david lean doing on there? I thought these were supposed to be American films? If not, where's fellini, kurosawa... (Not your fault I'm fuming at the AFI...)

Not that I disagree, but the reason David Lean is included and Kurosawa and Fellini are not is probably because Lean's movies are in english. It's stupid, but that's the reason.

I think Lean's films are on the list because the producer of the two films was working out of America at the time, which technically makes them American films, although everything else about them is 100% British.

Don't know how Fred Zinnemann isn't on their list, he did direct From Here to Eternity, High Noon and A Man for All Seasons, all fantastic films. Also it's Sidney Lumet with an 'i'. Fine quiz though

the fact that george lucas & robert wise made this list but woody allen, orson welles, joel coen, roman polanski, preston sturges & david lynch didn't is extremely weak
