Missed the straights - for whatever reason I remember them as "low straight" and "high straight".

Normally I'm not one to advocate more time, but this is getting a little silly. Half the fun of Sporcle is being able to guess a LITTLE bit. And there's really no time for that. I'm not saying you should add five more minutes or anything ridiculous like that, but perhaps just a little longer so users can have time to spit out whatever's on the tip of their tongue.

There's a bar I frequent where the bartenders play Shotzee, which is a self-explanatory but really dangerous version of Yahtzee. God help you if someone rolls a yahtzee, is all I'm saying.

@Kalle: Are you sure? I have never seen it. Although I would love for one pair to have its spot, since it is the bane of my Yahtzee existence.

Need more time. I didn't even get to the first column after filling the second.

I think there was enough time. I had 40 seconds to spare. I mean, there are only 13 items, and you either know them or you don't, especially the first 6.

"small" straight and "large" straight have always benn "low" straight and "high" straight when i've played it. you should make it so that either way is correct, otherwise i would have got 100%

ye same here, i knew they were straights but ive never called them small or large. They should also accept low and high straight

I agree with all you high and low straighters. The version we have here refers to these as low and high. I wonder if this is a feature of the UK version?

there are bonuses for additional yahztees too - I tried to get the bonus for that, but couldn't. Good quiz - Yahtzee was my M-i-L's favorite game.

Played way too much yahtzee one winter during my college days. My friend and I would play sextuple yahtzee where the column on the far right was six times the score, the next column to its left was five times the score and so on. Took a bit of startegy but it was fun.

Nuts. I missed the straights here as well calling them high and low. Maybe its a Brit thing...

Another Brit here with "low straight" and "high straight". And an extra minute, or even 30 seconds, would have been good.

jessbowen: You get bonus points for additional Yahtzees, but you can only put one in the "Yahtzee" square. Any ones you rolled after that would go in another box, like four of a kind, three of a kind, or the appropriate box in the top section. So, in closing, they're all just called "Yahtzee", whether you get 1 or 10.

Also been small and large whenever I've seen it (I'm in Canada). If it is indeed low and high in the British version, they should be acceptable.

I just looked up the Yahtzee article on Wikipedia. The version of the game played in Scandinavia (I'm Norwegian) is different from the original. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahtzee
