There's another bonus answer, too, besides Pete Rose.

The description of the game on the main page is wrong. If it were dependent on whether or not the former wrestler was in good standings with the WWE Brett Hart would not be in it. They need to induct Owen, though.

Bret Hart was in good standing with Vince when he was inducted. They released a Bret Hart DVD compilation about the same time he was inducted. They aren't best friends, but both are over the whole "Montreal Screwjob" incident.

Surprised there's no Bob Backlund or Bruno Sammartino. I know that Sammartino isn't on the best of terms with the WWE but you can't deny his accomplishments. Not sure if Backlund is in good graces or not but once again should definitely be there for what he did in the ring.

@Dan Zam: ...who? There is no man with that name in the history of the WWE. Just like Germany went on vacation and was invited to Poland in 1939 where punch was served. Check with Poland.

I'm as big a fan of the birdman as anyone, but Koko B. Ware is not HOF material. Also very suprised at no Bruno. I just figured I was spelling his last name wrong.

Bruno and Backlund omissions are surprising, as is the lack of Savage... Somebody give the Rock n Roll Express some love!

Sammartino has turned down offers to be in the HOF on principle that he feels the WWE HOF is a joke with guys like Pete Rose and William Perry in it, as well as some non-accomplished wrestlers.

No Savage, Sammartino and Backlund make this a mockery. Also are Rose and Perry the only two bonuses?

They offered Randy Savage the Hall of Fame this year but he turned it down. Thats how Koko B. Ware got inducted. Bruno Sammartino turned it down too. Owen Hart's widow, Martha Hart, doesn't want anything to do with WWE and with Vince in particular. Until she gives the Okay, Owen will not be inducted. So thats why Owen isn't inducted yet.

I was just going to have a moan about how it wasn't accepting Curt Henning as an answer, when I realised, that it doesn't have the last N in his name. 18 years I have been a wrestling fan, and a big Perfect fan, and I just didn't realise! Oh, and this was MUCH tougher than I expected it to be - just broke 40 on it.

Do they have to be retired to be inducted? I was surprised not to see Hacksaw Jig Duggan, Legion Of Doom, Undertaker, Jake Roberts. I typed in Ultimate Warrior even though I know relations between him and the WWF weren't exactly great.

they have to have finished full time wresteling to be inducted, cause ric flair retired at wrestmania when he lost to shawn micheals when it was only the day before he got inducted into the hall of fame. speculations already that mick foley (depending on his future input with TNA wresteling) and jake "the snake" roberts are to be the class of 2010 inductees

Kind of surprised Ultimate Warrior isn't on there. The matches between him and Hogan were some of the WWF's greatest.

BelowZero: Probably the reason why Owen hasn't been inducted is because of all the backlash that happened after his death. Owen's wife sued the WWF for nearly $16 million and won, and I think she pretty much wants nothing to do with the business anymore (as well as her wanting no involvement/reference made to Owen Hart). Sad too, because I'd love to see him get inducted one day, he deserves it.

The WWE HOF isn't an honor compared to other HOF's like the NFL or MLB. There isn't a HOF building for WWE, nor are there any requirements for getting in such as a waiting period or a committee that votes people in. It's just whoever Vince calls on the phone and whoever agrees.

Savage will never get in because he wants nothing to do with Vince ever again. Same reason Owen will never get in. Also, Warrior probably will never be inducted because Warrior supposedly hated the WWE-produced "Rise and Fall of The Ultimate Warrior" DVD and ranted about it. Warrior hates Vince and Vince is smart enough to realize Warrior is crazy off his rocker.

no his grandfather and father were inducted, they don't induct wrestlers that could go to other companies (unless your Flair or Hogan aged)
